Monday

I woke up with a VERY sore throat and a very lazy attitude. I definitely DID NOT want to go to boot camp. I sucked it up, took some Ibuprofen, and packed my bag. I then got picked up by Erin and went to church. We proceeded on a long car ride to Aggie-Land; land of the ignorant and home of the stupid. We got to chill and unpack and watch an intro video. Then we at dinner and went to a Club. Our team was called "Team Hardcore." We were so hardcore, NOBODY showed up at our club... It was sad. We came back kinda upset and discouraged. When we shared stories about clubs, I was so jealous of the people who had like 20 kids at their clubs. It was a crappy day for me because I felt like crap, my club had nobody, and when I went to sleep, I woke up 2 times because I was so freaking thirsty. Plus, my throat was killing me. Day 1 sucked.

Goodbye Friends!

This week I'm heading off to boot camp. Boot camp is nothing like it sounds. Every year we have this thing called Back Yard Bible Clubs (BYBC) which is kind of like Vacation BibleSchool. The difference is that BYBC is the church going out into the community rather than the community coming to the church. The students from 7-12th grade go to boot camp to learn the curriculum to teach the kids in the community. I won't be updating the blog for this week but this Friday or Saturday I'll fill you in on my daily experience. 

I dyed my hair last night and it looks really cool! I'm very excited about everything that's going on.

I'm finally done packing for Boot Camp and I should be leaving in an hour! Pray for me!

Sunday Funday!

Today was such a great day. This morning I almost didn't go to church, but at the last minute, Erin and I got dressed and hopped in the car with my family. After church, Erin went home and my family and I went to go look at cars. It's really hard to take trips in our car because its really small. We looked and we found one car that we really liked. We drove around in it for a while and I think we're going to buy it! I love it because it gives me a great outlook on the rest of my summer which is full of memories and adventures! Sometimes I feel like my life is a movie. Don't get me wrong, I definitely do NOT think my life is perfect or that I'm perfect. I just get perfect moments like everyone else. 

After we looked at the car, we went to Rudy's and ate LOADS of BBQ. We then went home and cleaned for a little bit. After that, we watched this scary movie called "The Wicked." 

My best friend Timothy shaved his head today. It may not seem like a big deal, but he had that Bieber hair going on. So he kind of looks SUPER retarded right now. My other friend Kyle dyed his hair PINK. It's also really bad. Right now I'm dying my hair black with a purple tint. Hopefully it will look good, otherwise it will just be a bad hair day day for everyone.

Welcome To Summer

            Hello JUNE! Agh. I'm so happy you're finally here! A long and fun summer is ahead, I can tell! Here in Texas its always so hot! That's the only downside to summer, but I love the hot! My best friend, Erin, has been staying over A LOT! We're practically sisters! We have an awesome friendship, but we all know that sisters don't always get along. We even fought a little bit today. 

            Today, we were having a garage sale so we got up at 6am, dragged all our crap into my yard, sat out there for 2 1/2 hours, and made $23.25 each. We were saving up money for our church trip and she's always complaining about how she has no money for the trips. After we split our money, she started talking about buying some new Nike shorts (that are, like, $35.) I got kind of upset with her and said that it would be stupid to spend it instead of saving it for her trip. Then things got heated and she went home for a bit. We weren't really mad at each other- we never are. Later I realized why I was so mean to her.... Let's just say that Aunt Flo came for a visit. We apologized to each other and she came over again. I just love her so much. 

              I've also been going swimming a lot. It's been Erin and my other guy friends: Kyle, Timothy, Jakob, James, and Enoch. It's hard to handle 5 guys at once. We go over to my neighborhood pool, and just stay there for hours. They're my best friends and I love them so much! We're going to different high schools, though. It'll be okay, even though Timothy and Jakob cause drama sometimes.
